Palme received a message from a strange transparent machine that rose from the ground. (See cel Shatta Surprised) “Hurry! Soma awaits! Hurry! Soma is waiting for you!” it proclaims.
Palme becomes very excited at the revelation that he is expected. Thinking that he will soon become human, he takes Popo’s hand and begins to hurry to his final destination, the great tree, Soma. He doesn’t realize that Popo, who is human and not a puppet, is becoming exhausted by his pace.
