In a dark studio, Maestro works on his creations.

Maestro is a talented robotics expert who worked in the past with Dr. Mima, Key’s grandfather. Unlike Mima, Maestro agreed to work for Ajo Heavy Industries after they offered him a good deal of money. he is the creator of the robotic idols used by Production Minos.

Through most of this scene, Mestro has his eyelids lowered (as shown in the drawing below) but at the end, he opens his eyes and glances toward Ajou who has visited the workshop.
