One of the exceptional things about Tenshi ni Narumon is that, while the series boasts a large cast, most of the characters develop along the way, and several reach their own personal climactic point in the story where they make an important realization. This scene is Mikael’s turning point, when he finally realizes he has been wrong, swallows his pride, and asks for help in a desperate situation, not for himself, but for everyone else. This cel is lovely. The painting fills almost the entire cel sheet.
