Crane Van Streich is a mysterious character who appears to the main character, Hibari, in her dreams. In the first episode, he sends her Densuke, her Patapi. Hibari calls him her Prince.
Crane was born in 1884, but in the present day, he is in suspended animation inside a craft orbiting the Earth. He appears similar in appearance to Takashi Ryugasaki (Shooting Star) because Takashi was created in Crane’s likeness.
