The Trigun manga by Yasuhiro Nightow was the basis for the 26-episode Trigun TV series released in 1995. Madhouse created the series, and it was directed by Satoshi Nishimura. The story is a twisted, often comic galactic western.
The main character is Vash the Stampede. A tall skinny man who is extremely strong, Vash is often immature and cannot hold his liqueur, but when he needs to, he becomes deadly serious and is an excellent gunfighter. The “Humanoid Typhoon” has a bounty of $$60billion (“double dollars”) on his head.
Early in the series Vash meets two insurance company employees, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson. Here Vash is actually carrying both ladies along with their vehicle above his head.
