Hachibei (left) and Nanako are members of Captain Rock’s pirate crew and also members of his rock band. They eventually become a couple. Hachibei is a parody of Yattaran, and Nanako is based on Yuki from Captain Harlock.
In the background are several figures. Kanea Marigold is the girl in pink, and she is talking to Captain Yamamoto and Goro (to the right). Above them, Captain Rock is perching in front of a large statue of the captain.
