This slightly oversized cel is labeled as a Tome cel as the Japanese word for tome is written in the upper right corner. A Tome cel is the same as a KEY END cel. It is the only cel used for the scene.
The cel’s background is either painted with a very chalky paint or pastels were used on it as it is a bit powdery. Fortunately, the previous owner added a protective sheet between the cel and the background to protect both layers. This is from the 14th episode when Kouichi and his classmates are making a movie. Based on this cel, It must be a sci-fi!
