Palme is wearing down after losing precious oil during the hazardous adventures he has had. As he nears his destination, Tamas, with only Popo in tow, he stops to pick her a flower. Popo, however, is shocked to see something on his arm that until now Palme has been able to conceal, Palme is starting to sprout tree roots. The lack of sufficient oil in his system and traveling in daylight is causing him to begin to revert to a Kooloop tree.
