This cel depicts the little brother of Dolan and Doru and the youngest of King Dorogami’s children. Wataru meets Dodo in the very first episode of Chou-Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru. When he arrives, Wataru has no memory of his past as a hero there, but is rescued by his old friends Shibaraku and Himiko. They take him to the village of Soukaizan. Soon after, Dodo arrives and invades the village with his robot and reactivates a giant robot also there. Wataru and his mecha Ryuujinmaru defeat Dodo. Afterward, Wataru and his companions ride a rainbow and officially start their journey to rescue all of the good hearts of the people of the Mount Sokai.
