This is a particularly good portrait of a smiling Yuu from the beginning of PlatinumHugen Ordian. This cel shows up in episode 2 when he visits the IMO for the first time. Yuu is 18 years old and is a rootless individual with no family to rely on and no particular direction in his life. At Joe’s insistence, Yuu agrees to visit the base but has no interest in working there. When he is touring the facilities, he is spotted by Nanna who knew him sometime in the past, and in this scene, he is chatting with her.
