The Mihoshi Special, 1 layer, no sketch, A8 OPENING, original non-matching background, OVA
A favorite cel, this is AIC embossed, and in mint condition plus it’s super cute! The cel is from The Mihoshi Special OVA (alternatively titled Galaxy Police Mihoshi’s Space Adventure). Mihoshi and Ryo-oki have just spotted a gingerbread house in the fractured fairytale opening to the story. The 25-minute-long show was released in 1994 between seasons of Tenshi Muyo.
Both the character Kiyone and Sasami’s alter-ego Pretty Sammy appear for the first time in the Mihoshi Special. Kazuhiro Ozawa was the director and also created the storyboard.
Since there was no background with the cel, I selected one I had that matched it in color and cuteness for a new scan.
