At the request of her dying grandfather, 16-year-old Maifon Li takes over his corporation which protects space transports from pirates for free. The series Angel Links is based on light novels by Ibuki Hideaki. The anime contains 13 episodes and ran on Japanese TV in 1999.
The director for the series was Yuji Yamaguchi. Sunrise was in charge of production. The original character design was by Hiroyuki Hataike (also known as Takehiko Ito), while the animation character designer was Asako Nishida.
