I used to own a lot of Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden cels, most of which were from a vast hoard purchased off a Japanese auction site. Most of these cels I sold to another collector, but I still have a half-dozen, 2 of which were never scanned. I now have a new scanner, and one of the first things I wanted to see was a copy of this split-screen cel.
This is a Book cel and each character cel is backed by a painted background piece. The characters shown are Blue Bomber, White Bomber, Yellow Bomber, and Black Bomber.
The series was created by the Japanese game company, Hudson Soft, and toy manufacturer Takara in 1998. The series director was Nobuaki Nakanishi, and Koji Sugiura designed the characters. The production studio for the series was Madhouse.
