Here are the highlights from a pack of genga and a douga of a scene from the series.
It’s is based on a popular manga called E’s, written and drawn by Satoru Yuiga. The series is 26 episodes long and was released in 2003. The anime was directed by Masami Shimoda, with character designs by Takafumi Nishima. The series was animated at Studio Pierrot.
The main character, Kai Kudou, was scouted by a man named Eiji, to become a member of AESES which trains psychically powered people to go on various missions, alone or in groups. Most people in this world live in cities owned and run by corporations. AESES is located in a wealthy city, Ashrum.
Kai’s first group mission is to a run-down city called Gald, and it goes badly. He is injured and left behind. He is rescued by Asuka, the girl in the sketches. The scene shows her visiting Kai the next day as he starts to recover.
