A favorite cel of the half-demon Inuyasha! This was an extremely popular family series in Japan in the early 2000’s, and it also has fans worldwide. There were 167 episodes, but only the first 99 were made with cels. Inuyasha is an adventure/drama with elements of comedy and the supernatural. It is based on the manga series by Rumiko Takahashi. Yoshihito Hishinuma was the character designer. In addition to the TV series, there were numerous movies, specials, and a recent spinoff: Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. Animation direction was provided by Sunrise.
