Here are two cels of the four 12-year-old friends that are the main protagonists in Cyber Team in Akihabara. While this series was made for girls, it has so much fan service that it became a huge hit with young men.
The 26-episode series was released in 1998 and produced by Ashi Productions.
The main character is a red-haired girl named Hibari Hanakoganei. Her best friends include Suzume Sakurajosui (lavender hair) and Tsugumi Higashijujo (black hair). Not long after the series starts, a blond-haired Osaka transfer student named Kamome Sengakuji joins them.
The girls own Patapis, cyber-pets popular with the students in their school, but the ones that these four possess have special powers. In both of these cels, the four students are watching their electronic pets become powerful mecha ladies that fight enemies who battle in their own mecha.
